MCMILLAN SUPPORTERS ASK MENDELSON TO DEMAND DEMOLITION STOP NOW — ASBESTOS AND PEDESTRIAN SAFETY LAWS BEING RUN OVER BY THE MAYOR!<\/font>

Please see attached omnibus reply to the numerous emails Chairman Mendelson has sent to many of his constituents who have written to him about his\u00a0McMillan Park amendment that is exempting the project from all District laws.
<\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

Specifically, his amendment is allowing the project to proceed by ignoring two\u00a0<\/span><\/b>life-safety regulations: 1) asbestos testing\/reporting\/mitigation and 2) erecting of pedestrian-safety barricades around the site.\u00a0 <\/b>
<\/span><\/span><\/font><\/div>\n

Therefore, his <\/span>constituents<\/span>\u00a0insist that Mr. Mendelson immediately call on the Mayor to stop demolition\u00a0<\/span><\/span>to ensure that the asbestos and pedestrian barricades\u00a0requirements are openly and transparently fulfilled\u00a0<\/font><\/span><\/font>(which the neighbors have been asking for some time now<\/a>).<\/font><\/span><\/div>\n
