The approval was made without discussion of how\u00a0the Masons and their developer,\u00a0Perseus,\u00a0have twisted the land-use regulations beyond recognition. For example, to fit their oversize building onto the new postage-stamp size lot, the Masons are rotating the Temple 90 degrees, pretending S Street is the front (when in fact it\u2019s on 16<sup>th<\/sup> St.) which puts an 11-foot wall in the rear yard, when only 4 feet is allowed. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0in;line-height:normal;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(51,51,51)\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin:0in;line-height:normal;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri,sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size:14pt;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:rgb(51,51,51)\">The emergency motion to stop construction was\u00a0filed by the neighborhood civic association,\u00a0Dupont East Civic Action Association (DECAA).
