(<\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/162687197264642\/videos\/812435376016680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/fb.watch\/46zStXCBRl\/<\/a> at 37) &nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black\">He also said two votes were required and they would be two weeks apart.<\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"background-image:initial;background-position:initial;background-size:initial;background-repeat:initial;background-origin:initial;background-clip:initial\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif;color:black\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif\">A dry, impenetrable document that guides city development over the decades has recently drawn the interest of the media (<i>The Washington Post, The Washington Informer, Washington City Paper<\/i>) because of loud and persistent opposition from citizen-led community groups, who charge that Mayor\u2019s changes are meant to circumvent a few court decisions. Critics say the Mayor\u2018s changes <\/span><span style=\"font-size:12pt;line-height:107%;font-family:Arial,sans-serif\">do nothing to <b>stop displacement<\/b>, provide affordable <b>low-income housing<\/b>, or promote <b>community-led <\/b>equitable development.
