Housing Supply VS Demand: Data for DC Region [1 Attachment]

Housing Security in the Washington Region | July 2014
The shortage of affordable housing in the Washington region is becoming increasingly clear. Without better information on the supply and demand for housing, however, it is extremely difficult for the public, private, and philanthropic sectors to make strategic investments or data-driven policy decisions to reduce homelessness and make housing more affordable.
This report was commissioned by The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region (now Greater Washington Community Foundation) with generous support from The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation. Prepared by the Urban Institute and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments.
