When is a Roof Not a Roof?

Residents Challenge Zoning Approval of Masonic Lot –

Dupont ANC Committee Agenda Tonight

Dupont East Civic Action Association (DECAA) asks the question: When is a roof an embellishment? In a presentation tonight at Dupont ANC 2B’s Land Use Committee, DECAA challenges the Zoning Administrator’s approval of the Masonic lot subdivision of November 2020, in preparation for a hearing at the Board of Zoning Adjustment May 12. DECAA is organizing opposition to the proposed oversized, inappropriate development behind the Masonic Temple at 16th and S Streets, NW. DECAA’s case will be presented by DECAA Board Members Ed Hanlon and Michael Hays.
